ARCH1142 - Fluid Thoughts and Movements to Actions - Fourth Workshop: Presentation

For our final workshop in Fluid Thoughts, we had to present the portfolio that contained the work we had produced over the previous three weeks in this workshop. My portfolio consisted of five separate bi-folding frames which held up the drawings like a stand.

ARCH1142 - Fluid Thoughts and Movements to Actions - Third Workshop: Museum of Sydney

For the third workshop, we went to the Musuem of Sydney. First we went into the musuem and viewed the exhibition. We then began doing our drawings on the forecourt of the musuem. The focus was to be on the musuem and its surroundings. Movement was achieved through the changing of perspectives in these watercolour and charcoal drawings.

ARCH1142 - Fluid Thoughts and Movements to Actions - Second Workshop: Watercolour

In the second week of Fluid Thoughts and Movements to Actions, we explored the techniques and effects on canvas made possible by watercolour. We began with numerous minor drawings with basic shades of watercolour but soon developed to A3 and A2 watercolour drawings with numerous shades of watercolour with the guidance from our tutors.

ARCH1142 - Fluid Thoughts and Movements to Actions - First Workshop: Charcoal

In our first workshop for Fluid Thoughts and Movements to Actions, our tutors Chrissie Ianssen and Anton Pulvirenti introduced us to the topic. We began with small scale drawings with charcoal but soon were able to fill up A2 sheets of paper with charcoal drawings. To finish off, we produced a collage capturing the shades in a room utilising different coloured paper.
